Wedding Ceremony Trailer

September 16, 2009

This is a collection of images from footage taken just before Billy and Brittany’s wedding ceremony. It was a lovely day and everyone was so happy. There are some nice moments of the bride and groom preparing and signing legal documents.

Brittany and Billy

September 6, 2009

Brittany contacted me not too long ago and asked for something different for her wedding film and pre-wedding shoot and slideshow. I have been wanting to try something like this for a while and they were up for the idea. This is just a portion of what we shot at the Gris Mill but you will see that we put a twist on the regular photo montage.

I was grateful for the opportunity to shoot some video for Brittany and Billy. What a great couple they are…and that girl has such a contagious smile! Enjoy!

The Birds

The birds were absolutely hilarious! Those kids have us rolling on the floor every time we watch this. Another family film we are making for families who want a nice cinematic documentation of their family.

Jen and Ted

September 4, 2009

This film is one of our family films that we produce. We can do a variety of pieces: Just a movie, movie with audio, movie with pictures, a cinema book…there are many options.

Jen and Ted are a great couple. They have three boys and they have their hands full. Jen is actually the gal that Kristy and I team up with to do these films: we film it and Jen photographs it.

Brian and Rebecca

August 31, 2009

A while back I was asked to film my uncle’s wedding. This time it wasn’t “uncle Bob” holding the camcorder…it was “nephew Bob”. This was such a great day for him and his new wife Rebecca. They have such a great story and their day was truly wonderful for all involved.

This short was shot in a very cine-journalistic style as I pretty much stood in the shadows and just filmed things as they transpired with very little interaction with the bride and groom. I found this to be one of my favorite ways to shoot: I have watched this several times and I’m still not tired of it.

Ian and Lisa

August 28, 2009

We did a date type video for this wonderful couple. They had a great story and they were great to work with…no coaching necessary!

One of the most rewarding things as a wedding film maker hit me in the process of making this video. On the day of the wedding, Jen (Ian’s cousin-in-law) was taking the dvd with her to the wedding so they could show it on the big screen. While she watched it on her laptop in the car, she called up my wife Kristy and said, “Tell your husband that his video ruined my make-up job!”

There was laughing and crying when Ian and Lisa’s guests watched their video. This is what makes doing these worth the while. Thanks guys!
